Hello all,
I've noticed that on some of my Thai 1 baht's (1986 - 2008) some of the dates are thicker than other dates from that same year, any idea why?
I can't take photos sorry.

perhaps thick dates are worn dies?

It could be a way to identify mints. I know that South Korea produced Thai coinage. Perhaps others did as well.

On the Numista page:

In the comments section it mentions variants in lettering thickness. I'm not sure if it's just die wear or if it's indication of something though.
