India 5 Rupee coin from 1999 identification [solved]

5 posts

Trying to ID this 5 Rupee coin from India. It has a date of 1999 on it and a mint mark from Moscow (MMD in oval). It has to be Krause 154.1 or 154.2 The weight matches up to 154.2 but the catalog I am using does not show any minted in Moscow for that Krause number. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
Jim

Thanks! That information is a bit different than whats in the Krause catalog. It is the weight difference that is throwing me off..

I weighed 15 of these coins, ranging from 1992-2003. Together, all 15 weighed 134.2g, for an average weight of 8.95g each.
