Inconsistency-Liberia Presidential Series

I don't know the answer, but some of the series is listed under Liberia and some are listed under Exonumia.

I believe the Exonumia listing comes from 2011 Unusual Coins catalog with X#'s

I have the 2012 issue of SCWC 1901-2000, which does not list these coins. I assume you mean the copper-nickel coins of 2000. There are other variations (the 2009 copper-nickel with silver plating are listed in SCWC 2001-date (2016) with KM#'s. If someone could check for the 2000 coins in a newer SCWC 1901-2000 and finds them with KM#'s I think the case would be clear for listing under Liberia.

Liberian coins with out the official national arms are not legit coins of Liberia. They were struck without government authority during the time if the Liberian wars. The presidential series does not bear the arms of Liberia, and that is why they are in the Krause catalog of unusual coins.
