I added the coin on the catalog but the entry is still pending approval from the admins, so you may not be able to open the link below:

Here is some information about the coin:

This Saturday and Sunday numismatists can get the coin from the Royal Mint (up to 5 pieces per person), and on November 11 it will be offered in the War Museum of Ottawa.

Although the theme of this coin is worthy being commemorated, it would be really surprising news if the Canadian mint had not issued a new coin for a day or so (8

LOL it's funny because it's true ;)
What? Me Worry
It sucks that they pump out so many coins for every occasion.

Then when there is something actually cool like the 100th anniversary for the end of WWI it worthless.
And sometimes it kind of backfires, as when they celebrated the 90th B. anniversary of the Ottawa Mint in 1998, and then did NOT celebrate the 100th anniversary in 2008 B., possibly because they had celebrated the 90th just a decade earlier.

Never short of *facepalm* moments with the RCM.

You can get a roll of them from the mint and they pay the shipping. The coloured version is a beauty. Like many Canadian colorized coins it will have a value. The mint gives the red colour some gradation in it that I find amazing.
