Hello,
I really suck at identifying Roman coins and I can’t even tell which emperor this is. Tetricus maybe? Can anyone help me?

diameter: 20.5mm
thickness: 1.5mm
weight: 3.27g
metal: bronze?

Hello,

It is Gallienus, with a AETERN AVG reverse. It looks like there is a mintmark but I'm not sure : MT, for Milan ?
If so, probably RIC 465A.

Hello,
With this kind of profile, it's the emperor Gallienus : Tetricus II doesn't have a long neck.

An antoninianus with a "AETERN AVG" reverse type ?

Edit : Oops, Choucas was quicker.
M for Milan yep, the T could be for the third officina as P, S and Q seem to exist for other references.
The spiked crown indicated that the coin was an antoninianus. It was denominated at twice the value of a denarius, although it originally had only 50 per cent more silver. (They were later debased all the way down to a copper coin with a thin silver wash. )
I really should study more on Roman coins and how to identify them...just the basics at least. The first emperor that I think of when I see a radiate bust is Gallienus so this time I looked up Tetricus and a few others and it turns out it was Gallienus after all. Oh well, thank you so much anyways!
