Guatemala banknote collectors [solved]

Hello forum -

I'm traveling to Guatemala next week. I have a bunch of quetzal banknotes that my brother gave me from his trip about 10 years ago. Does anyone know if those old banknotes are still good? They are all dated like 1998 or 2008 etc. I know the polymer 1 and 5 notes are good, but what about the other ones? Did they get demonetized?

PS: I'm taking a bunch of US money but I'd like to use the quetzal notes if I can.
From their central bank ..

Do not argue with ignorant people .. !! They will drag you down to their level, then pulverize you with experience ...
Thanks @derf - I read the page but it's dated 2005 so I'm not sure if the info is accurate?
Here's a pic of my quetzales:

Are any of these still available? Their is a few I may need if you still have them. I'll be happy to swap.
Sorry - I ended up selling those banknotes and used US dollars on my trip.

I do have a HUGE pile of banknotes that I'll be swapping or selling soon.

Please look for my listings!
