Im sure this has been spoken of before, but does anyone know an easier way in opening these case's ?

Instead of a ban saw!

Awesome tips, I saw the hammer video before but I was worried with my luck the coin would fly across the room under a table/furniture to never be found.

The ban saw was simple, cut off edges, take top off. no shattering.

The vice clamp is a good idea, but I still have that Murphy's Law factor. I swear Murphy likes me. lol.

Hammer to upper left, upper right lower left and then lower right wrapped in a not too thick towel
