At first I thinking is was a Indian states coin but then began to wonder if it didn’t have a Moroccan type design to it any halo would be greatly appreciated.

This is likely a Mamluk fals from the Hamah mint of Nasir Muhammad I, 3rd reign. I could not find an exact match in my references.

Hello,
I agree with numisquare about the ruler however the mint is Trablus (Tripoli, in Lebanon) : we can see the beginning of it on the first picture (first line after a rotation of 90 degrees counter clockwise).
