Hi
I have im my collection 2 off German Notgeld Counterfeit 10pf Mainz, Funck# 314.2.
Falsungen in zinkguss.
I wonder why anyone would have made such counterfeits, and why they would be valued at 50.- by Funck?
Hope someone will enlighten me. Thank you.

The reasons seem obvious. They were made to make money, and they are valuable because people collect them and they aren't common.

It seems strange that the case counterfeit would be round. Why wouldn't they copy the shape of the original?
