Numista collection viewer web

Hey everyone, I wasn't sure where to put this, but free discussion seems good enough!

So, a few days ago I discovered the wonderful API to get info from numista (https://qmegas.info/numista-api/) that megas made. I then decided to put together very quickly a nice way of seeing my collection. Since I liked the result I decided to share it here so you guys can enjoy it too. It uses the public information of your profile, so if your collection is private I'm afraid it won't work! I might do it in the future, but for now it just works with the public collection.

It is really easy to use. Just go to the page and input your user ID, that you can find in your profile here in numista.

You can check it here: https://xdargu.github.io/NumistaViewer/

As an alternative, you can just go directly to the collection of your user (or any user) by going to the following url and changing "YOUR_USER_ID_HERE" for your user ID. You can also bookmark that page to quickly go there without manually entering your id.

I hope you enjoy it! It was a lot of fun building it.
Sorry but this looks dodgy as hell.
Good job ,I liked it !! there should be a function where we click on the picture and it get expand just like in the original version and two small button for view details of coin and close it .:)
coin collector.....
jimpop, sorry if it looks dodgy! I made it for personal use at the beginning, since I wanted to have a nice display of all my coins, especially on mobile, and I thought it would be nice to share it. If it helps, all the code is available here (https://github.com/XDargu/NumistaViewer). And of course, it never asks for things like your password! It is all publicly available data using the API. As en example, you can use the API to fetch the first page of all my coins by going to https://qmegas.info/numista-api/user/collection/?user_id=97104. I hope this explanation helps, but if you have any questions I'm happy to answer them!

arvin11 thanks! I'm glad you like it! I'm planning on adding something to expand the picture, yes, I also miss that. You can already click on a coin card and it will expand and show its details. It is missing a link to the coin page in numista, but I want to add it. You can click it again to close the details. Something that I think is neat is that, since the API has a way of checking the median and average value of a coin in ebay, it also displays that for the coin. On top of that, it tries to estimate the value of your entire collection! Although it is for sure far from accurate.
Amazing !
A wonderful tool for those who want to put a picture of their coins in their collection book.

Why is there some empty spaces sometimes ?

Thanks! I never thought of that use, but it is a good one! Regarding the empty spaces, looks like it is an alignment issue I have to fix. I don't have much time to work on this, so it could take a while, but I definitely want to fix it! Same as having the option to enlarge the coin images.
Had a look - not bad.

It only shows the types, rather than every example, also its large image size means it takes a long time to load.

I would not be too worried.

Only annoyed when it said my collection value is about 45% of the median - either you guys have prize winning collections of rarities or you are all creative liars:8D
I love coins
