TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CATALOGUE

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CATALOGUE

Hello to all, The site is currently having some technical changes made to it. As a result we would appreciate that all members would not submit any changes to the catalogue until further notice. Kind regards Numista Team

Not sure what to make of this. I think it is fine as long as the closure is short!

Hope this is to fix "Unable to send message" issue.

They are only "closed" for new "Change requests". Seems they'll be doing a clean-up on stalled requests, as it takes some time to verify the data of some coins, and maybe people are sending the same coin requests multiple times - not knowing someone already sent one, and it has been stalled because of need for authentication.

Whatever, I am a bit suspicious about how this is going to end (or not end).

Hello,
to make things clear.

We see every day strange stuff on the validation system. Request appearing on count of some referee that should not get (wrong country), request appearing on the team members request list (whereas they should not generate any request as we are team members), we get request from people who claim not requesting anything...

So as we are not sure about what is going on and as we already say have no way to fix anything, we prefer to prevent people working for nothing (in case modification are not correctly recorded) and ask people stop editing the catalogue.

To make things clear too, this does not mean we are working to fix up other bugs...

About referees, we would advise not to work too much on the catalogue in case modification are not recorded properly... we do not really kow it is just a way not to make things get worst

All clear Laurent and your decision is correct.

In fact there are some strange events in last month, as we have already told.

But sometimes I see also error in normal request on site...
