France - Issue of the first coins of the "Values of the Republic" series. Three 5 euro coins made of 33.3% silver commemorate liberty, equality and fraternity and have a mintage of two million. In addition, three 25 euro coins dedicated to justice, secularism and respect were issued, with a mintage of 100,000 each. A 250 euro gold coin commemorating peace has been issued as well. All these coins can be purchased individually or in a box at their face value. Note: A 500 euro gold coin will also be issued at a date to be announced later.

The silver coins of the 'Values of the Republic' serie

Italy - Issue of a commemorative 10 euro. Issued as part of the pan-European series dedicated to European poets and writers, this silver 925‰ coin commemorates the Italian Luigi Pirandello. Its mintage is 7,000.

Kazakhstan - Issue of a commemorative 50 tenge. It commemorates the 120th anniversary of the birth of the writer Mağjan Jumabayev, and has a mintage of 100,000.

Russia – Release of a commemorative 10 ruble. It is part of the "Cities of Victory" series, which commemorates the Russian cities that played an important role during the Second World War, and is dedicated specifically to the town of Naro-Fominsk . Its mintage is ten million.

Ukraine - Issue of a commemorative 5 Hryven. It commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Luhansk Oblast. Its mintage is 20,000.
