One of the features of Numista is to be able to exchange easily coins with members of the whole world.

There are 3 ways to start a swap on Numista

Depending of what you want, you can:

Exchange with a particular member or select a member according to certain criteria

To start a swap, click on "Exchanges - Start a swap" from the left menu on every Numista page.
This will bring you to "Numismatic Exchanges".

The page "Numismatic Exchanges" shows you the list of members who want to swap and who were recently active.
Only the first 100 members are shown. To see more click on "Show more" at the bottom of the list.
Names appear in a random order so to not favor certain members more than others.

Select a member from the list according to 7 criteria

It is possible to sort the member list according to 7 criteria.
By clicking the title of the column interesting you, you make an increasing or decreasing sorting. This function is possible only once, impossible to make crossed sortings!

  • Pseudo : This icon shows that the member doesn't wish any swap at this time. You can add a comment on the profile page of each member (for example that you will start a swap with this member in the future...). This comment will then appear on the swap page. Only you will see it. To access from the "Numismatic Exchanges" page to the profile page of a member, click on the rating stars near his name.
  • Rating : The number between brackets indicates the amount of ratings received. The sorting happens prior to the rating average (considering that 5 stars = 10/10, 4 stars = 8/10...) and then to the amount of received ratings. So, a member with 300 ratings and an average of 9.8/10 will be classified after a member with only 3 ratings and an average of 10/10.
  • Country : Available only if the member mentioned it in his profile.
  • Coins that may interest you : This number depends on what you enter in "Your swap wishes".
  • Coins that may interest him/her : This number depends on the "Swap wishes" of the member.
  • Distance : Distance from your home. Available only if you and the member filled in the information in "Your account's setting - Public localization data".
  • Seniority : From registering date to Numista..

Choose a member according to his/her geographical localization (map)

Members who filled the information in "Your account's setting - Public localization data" appears on a map. You can localize the close members from your home, or wherever in the world.
