Tallinn
The Eesti Pank Museum (Bank of Estonia Museum) showcases Estonian money and its history as well as the central bank, its activities and its past in a beautiful old building.
13,000 museum pieces.
Great museum, a lot of interesting things to see. Also, all Estonian coins can be seen, including Silver and Gold coins (also € coins).
Great for anyone interested in Estonian coins/money. Also has lots of euro coins on display, and has a section that teaches about the central bank and economic concepts.

Definitely a hidden gem! It's a free museum about money and it gave me lots of interesting insights about that. Absolutely recommend. Also the stair at the entrance is beautiful.
Short experience, but it's free and has interesting stuff to see! Take a chance if you're in town, to see the story of the Estonian bank, minting of money and currently about the euro and new processes.
This was a great museum. Must visit for the entry staircase alone! Do make sure to visit all the rooms (merchants'/artistocrats' room - peoples' room - treasury). The treasury had a multimedia enactment of a medieval punishment for counterfeiting that's well-made. You learn a lot about money - its history, evolution, and the banking system as it stands. You also learn loads about Estonian culture and history. And it's FREE. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite museums. Very well explained. I wish though that they sold more of the older coins. Also it is free, and very informative.
A free museum which is to enter has some interesting activities to choose from. It also has a nice basement with a neat surprise beneath for those who are curious. You can see different coins in Estonia from different time periods, build a puzzle and learn more about Estonian economics with info and games. Good place for kids and money/currency connoisseurs.
