Great local coin store with US and world offerings. Junk silver is sold at a reasonable price and lots of bins of coins to sort through. Makes me fell like I am 10 years old again.

Went to Penny Pincher Coins in January and loved the shop and the prices. Nice, friendly people working both times I went. Plus, it's located in great area, away from the traffic.

Shawn and the team at Penny Pincher are the best. He gives a history of the coins that makes the experience of coin collecting so much fun. I really love the morgan I picked up today and the others he's helped me add to my collection in the past. Thank you...go here to add to ypur collection and to learn something new.

Penny Pincher Coins is a top notch coin shop; in fact one of the best in northern Virginia. Shawn is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in helping the customers acquire the particular coins they are looking for and within budget. Shawn's coin shop has plenty of US coins, foreign coins, and bank notes. There are several bargain bins and buckets of random inexpensive coins, there are ancient coins, there are gold and silver coins. Best yet Shawn gets new coins daily. What more can you ask for? Best coin shop in the area!

NOT kid-friendly!! Owner was so rude to my son and me. He made a big deal about how we didn't spend any money today. Little did he know we were about to spend over $300 on a silver bar but not after his condescending, arrogant behavior. My son is very interested in coin collecting and I could have seen us spending quite a bit of money there over the years (as we have in the past). We will find another place to spend our money now.

Penny Pincher is one of the best dealers that I have done business with over the past year. They are very friendly and helpful. Sean has especially been great! Will continue doing business with them for a long time and would recommend them to anyone. Cheers!

This place is so much fun. There are a variety of interesting items and it's very clean, but what really impressed me was the customer service. I brought in two young kids who are beginning to get into coin collecting. Obviously with their age they won't be spending a lot, but the gentleman behind the counter treated them just like the more serious buyers in the store. He even gave them a half dollar coin and a silver dollar in change -that was very exciting. I appreciate his patience, encouragement and kindness. We'll be back!
