Crowned shield, quartered with 1 and 4 of Castile, with 2 and 3 of Leon, on the whole of Bourbon
Script: Latin
Lettering: DOPPIA SPAGNIA.
This monetary weight, with the Bourbon coat of arms, post-dates the accession of Philip V of Spain to the Spanish crown (1700). The inscription on the right, with Doppia, seems to indicate that this monetary weight was struck in Italy.
