Translation:
State treasury bills are backed by the full credit of the USSR and are mandatory for acceptance throughout the entire territory of the USSR for all payments to all institutions, enterprises and individuals at their face value.

The 16 ribbons on the wreath (8 at left, 1 at centre, 7 at right) and 16 languages represent the 16 Republics of the USSR.
Font Types
For this note, there are two font types, one holding two letter spacing differences. Font type 1 thin-spaced letters, font type 1 wide-spaced letters, and font type 2 are shown at the right, in respective order.

Prefix Cases
The series prefixes for this banknote use the following 25 letters of the Russian alphabet: Аа, Бб, Вв, Гг, Дд, Ее, Зз, Ии, Кк, Лл, Мм, Нн, Оо, Пп, Рр, Сс, Тт, Уу, Фф, Хх, Цц, Чч, Ьь, Ээ, Яя.
The series prefix cases exist in four formats:
