Were printed 40 million banknotes, and there are no official reposition issues, but since exist notes with serials over 40 million, they are considered as reposition between collectors.
On the obverse the motif of the outline of Uruguay is painted in colour changing ink, it can go from green to blue:
In this motif is a hidden 100 that can be seen if the note is tilted
On the obverse there is an iridescent ink strip which is pink:
On the reverse there is another iridescent ink strip, this time it is gold and has “$100” on it:
Under backlight the security strip can be read. It has “URUGUAY” repeated on it:
UV activity (365nm) on the 2015 note:
Both iridescent strips absorb UV.
