The collection was coordinated by the then Sorbonne Professor and CEXECI (Centro Extremeño de Estudios y Cooperación con Iberoamérica) director Miguel Rojas Mix (1934-2022). Each medal was to be sold together with each Sunday newspaper between March 5th and June 4th, 1995, for the price of 400 pesetas. The announced mintage was 30000 with a possible extension according to demand. The dies were to be destroyed after distribution of the collection.
