Series: Hofkirchen an der Trattnach

Obverse

Illuminated letter 'H' in larger font and separate box to the rest of the name 'Hofkirchen', with 'a.d.Tr.' abbreviated for 'an der Trattnach'. The denomination of the banknote is given in the top right in a framed box symmetrical to that holding the 'H'. Below this title is the town's coat of arms, including a quartered ibex representing the personal crest of Pastor Moritz Prechensteiner, the greatest benefactor to Hofkirchen. This is explicitly referenced below as 'Wappen [coat of arms of] Prechensteiner'.
