Coin issued by the National Park Foundation and Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park commemorating the 15th anniversary of the United States Mint’s Silver Buffalo bullion coin series. The obverse and reverse feature designs created by James Earle Fraser as alternatives to the designs used on the US Buffalo nickel. At one time, James Earle Fraser was an assistant to Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The coin is minted in 2oz of .999 silver, high-relief, with a reverse-proof finish.
