Series of Aureus Magnus medals by Werner Graul.

 

Variants exist in 1, 2½, 5, 10, 20, 30 ducats nominations. Silver variants exist in 1 and 3 argenteus nominations. Reference catalogs call silver variants silver ducats. Issuer called them argenteus.

 

Graul designed a series of gold medals which he called Aureus Magnus between 1955 and 1982. Some series had silver variants called argenteus. More information can be found at http://www.aureus-magnus.com/
