Comments

The series "Coin Cities of Russia" began in 2022. Then, the St. Petersburg Mint minted medals dedicated to Vereya, Mozhaisk, Sevsk, Serpukhov, Krasnokamsk, Moscow and Ryazan. And in 2024, eight more tokens of the series were released: their "heroes" were St. Petersburg, Veliky Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Kolpino, Pskov, Sestroretsk, Suzun and Tver.
All medals of the series have a single compositional solution. The obverse side depicts the city's coat of arms - modern or, if there is none, historical; the name of the series and the name of the city. On the reverse side is a coin minted in this city, against the background of a plot image made using laser matting.
In total, there are 15 types of tokens in the series "Coin Cities of Russia". The circulation of each token is 500 copies. The author of the design is the artist of the design center of JSC Goznak, Elena Viktorovna Kramskaya.
