The series “The History of the Dutch Guilder” (De Geschiedenis van de Nederlandse Gulden) consists of replicas made out of real silver, minted on the occasion of the farewell of the Dutch Guilder.
All issued replicas show an original design of the most important coins of Dutch history, the first issue being the 1680 replica.
All replicas are made out of Sterling silver and struck to a proof standard.
The commemorative coins are detailed replicas of the original designs. Every issued coin from this series meets the strict demands of “Het Nederlandsche Muntenhuis”, ensuring a high standard of quality.
The series is strictly limited to a maximum of 10,000 complete collections.
