This coin was issued as part of the Annual Gold Proof set for 2026 (issue limit 52, sales unknown) as well as individually on 17/03/2026 (issue limit 235, sales unknown). The design was also struck in silver proof and gold proof.

For the first time, the gold commemorative Annual Sets of 2026 used recycled gold.
The coin features 100 beads surrounding the design to represent the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II’s birth.
