The Munich Agreement was concluded on 30 September 1938, by Germany, United Kingdom, France and Italy. The agreement provided for the German annexation of part of Czechoslovakia called the Sudetenland, where more than three million people, mainly ethnic Germans, lived.
Pictured copy engraved on reverse with a facsimile of Neville Chamberlain's signature, “10 DOWNING STREET” AND DATE “9 - 2 - 39”.
