Script: Latin

Lettering: MONET A REGIS VROSI

Translation: Money of king Uroš

Reverse

Christ enthroned, blessing with his left arm, holding book of gospels decorated with 5 gems.

Script: Greek

Lettering: IC XC

Translation: Jesus Christ

Very rare and important example as only few types had reference to money. There is a round medallion on kings chest with very visible details of his attire. Left arm almost looks like showing muscle a bicep sticking out while holding heavy globus.

Very rare and important example as only few types had reference to money. Lovely toning and patina. 9 small crosses on the obverse, 1 is hanging at the end of kings necklace, 4 are on his belt and 4 are on the throne 2 on each side. Reverse only has 1 small cross under Jesus right elbow. These are possibly moneyer marks.
