Obverse

A cracked warrior's helmet, from which a flower in the form of a lamp rises - a symbol of the Jewish warrior's contribution to the victory and revival of Israel against barbed wire to mark the victims of the Holocaust.

Reverse

A sword and a Star of David, the inscription "One and a half million Jewish fighters" and the verse expressing their attack on the aid of their brothers who are evasive in the Holocaust: "I am with you to save you and save you".

Comments

This Medal salutes Jewish fighters in World War II, who played an important role in the victory over the Nazis and the other Axis powers. On the medal face, a helmet with a shattered Star of David and a flower in the form of a Menorah. In the background a barbed-wire fence recalling the Holocaust. On the reverse, a sword and Star of David, the words "A Million and a Half Jewish Fighters" in Hebrew and the verse "I am with you to save you".
