Miura trained at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts and continued his artistic studies at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid for three years. He is one of the most original figures on the Spanish art scene, not only for his artistic work but also for his teaching and for opening, together with Arturo Rodríguez, the legendary Galería & Ediciones Ginkgo (1989-1998), a space focused on graphic art and multiples, which has allowed him to maintain continuous contact with different generations of artists and creative circles.
