"H" is to symbolize Henryk the Bearded, and "L" by Leszek Biały - the main competitors to the throne in Krakow. The building on the right, with the inscription , symbolizes the "capital" of prince Racibórz. The star above the building signifies the prosperity of this reign. The building on the left, with the word, symbolizes the acquisition of the Bytom castellany, attached to the lands of Mieszko. Behind the double bead ring, there is a cross (top) and a circle (bottom), symbols of faith and infinity. These symbols, beyond the realm of worldly matters, suggest the infinity of the Christian faith. In the break at the bottom, the name of the issuer, and the series, and year.
