Silver medal struck in 2006 for the prestige set 400 jaar Michiel de Ruyter, commemorating the 400th anniversary of the birth of Dutch admiral Michiel de Ruyter (1607–1676).
The design is based on the honor medal engraved by Wouter Müller in 1666 to commemorate the Four Days' Battle (11–14 June 1666), one of the major naval battles of the Second Anglo-Dutch War (1665–1667).
The medal was part of coin set Prestigeset 400 Jaar Michiel de Ruyter.
