Strip of five connected panels. The leftmost panel reads: “Altenmarkter Kleingeld 1920. Auflage 400 Stück. Schlußausgabe.” The three central panels show the denominations: “Gutschein über Zwanzig 20 Heller”, “Gutschein über Dreißig 30 Heller”, and “Gutschein über Fünfzig 50 Heller”, each followed by “Gemeinde Altenmarkt, Bez. Liezen, Steiermark”. The rightmost panel reads: “Ohne Gemeindestempel ungültig.” and bears the circular municipal stamp.

Local emergency money (Notgeld) issued by the municipality of Altenmarkt in 1920. The strip contains three denominations (20–30–50 Heller) joined by perforation. The reverse features four poetic, obituary-style verses describing the notgeld’s symbolic “life”. The print run is stated as 400 pieces, and the reverse indicates this is the third printed edition. Redemption deadline: 31 December 1920.
