Nickel Steel token as part of the Finland Ensimmäiset rahani (My First money) mint set 2017.

The obverse side features a circle of 12 four-leaf clovers runs around the outer edge of the medal, symbolizing luck for each month of the year. represent growth, vitality, and the blossoming of a new life.

There is an empty space intentionally left blank , to allow parents to engrave the child's name and date of birth, as these sets are frequently given as gifts for newborns or birthdays

The reverse side shows a blooming red clover (Trifolium pratense), which is a common symbol of luck in Finnish culture. It is encircled by six four-leaf clovers, further emphasizing the "lucky coin" (Onnenlantti) theme.

This design is similar to the Onnenlantti token 2007 -2014 with different composition of nickel steel, instead of copper nickel, reducing the weight to 8g instead of 10g.

Copper nickel is a solid, non-magnetic alloy that has a bright, silver-like appearance and was the standard material for "Onnenlantti" gift medals for many years, while the nickel/steel alloy looks identical to the copper-nickel version, has a steel core, making the medal magnetic.
