Translation: 250 years of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia
Reverse
In the center is a decorative baroque element dividing the image into upper and lower parts:
The upper part is an architectural design of the historic façade of the old Petrovsky Theater, located on the site of the current building, created using laser matting.
The lower part is a stylized monogram of Catherine II, by whose decree the theater was created, and the year of its founding.
The inscription along the edge of the medal and the mint mark.
