Obverse

It depicts two rabbits in a winter forest. One carries a blue sack filled with gifts, the other holds a large, colorful firecracker. The characters are adorned with scarves and mittens, conveying a festive New Year's mood.
The coloured elements were applied using pad printing.

Reverse

The central part is a snowflake-shaped ornament.
Rings with inscriptions and numbers:
Inner ring: months of the year (JAN, FEB, MAR, etc.) arranged in a circle.
Middle ring: numbers from 1 to 31, representing the days of the month.
Outer ring: inscription.

One of the medals issued by the Moscow Mint to celebrate the New Year of 2023.
When creating this medal, the Moscow Mint artists were inspired by the iconic song "About Hares" from the film "The Diamond Arm."
The 39mm proof-quality medal is packaged in a capsule.
