The item was minted by Irkutsk Radio Receiver Factory (Иркутский завод радиоприёмников) (1945-2004).

It came in original plastic gift box as a part of the “300 Years of Irkutsk” series of 6 commemorative medals (1 - Дом-музей декабристов, 2- Русско-Азиатский банк, 3 - Спасская церковь, 4 - Белый дом, 5 - Дворец культуры профсоюзов, 6 - Драматический театр). One can see the logo of the factory on the bottom of the original box.

The obverse depicts historical building at Lenina street, 38 in Irkutsk, where the Bank's office was located:

The Bank was active in 1910-1926.
