Comments

This was the first note to showcase CCL Secure's  CINEMA™ security feature made possible for polymer banknotes using the GUARDIAN™ substrate. The note was designed by CCL Secure and printed by PWPW.

 

The CINEMA™ feature on this note is in the blue window in the shape of a film reel. When the note is tilted, it gives the illusion of depth and movement within that window, see how the 50s move relative to the film reels:

There is no UV activity on this note. It was tested at 365nm and 254nm.

 

The first banknote to be printed with this technology was the Lebanon 100000 Livres banknote issued in 2020, printed by PWPW:
