Brownish-red print on light background. Ornamental guilloche border around the note. The denomination "20" is placed in the corners of the border. At the bottom, within the lower frame, there is a legal clause regarding counterfeiting. Red serial number on the lower right side.

Ornamental guilloche pattern in shades of brown, purple, and green. Large numerals "20" integrated into floral motifs on both top corners. In the center, within an octagonal medallion surrounded by scrolls, a profile portrait of Tadeusz Kościuszko facing left.

Historical Context: These banknotes were issued during the formative years of the Second Polish Republic, prior to the currency reform of Władysław Grabski that introduced the Złoty. The text on the obverse explicitly promises the future exchange of these Marks into the upcoming official Polish currency.
