The fineness and weight were erased from the reverse of this pattern strike.

The reverse depicts a monument of "Glory to the conquerors of space" by architect Lev Lavrenov and sculptor Grigoriy Postnikov. It was erected in Monino (Moscow region, USSR) on 25.10.1962, in the presence of Soviet cosmonauts Yuri Gagarin, Andriyan Nikolaev and Pavel Popovich.
