Issued at Sugamo Prison in Tokyo, Japan, during the post-WWII Allied occupation period. During this time, the prison was operated by the U.S. Army's 8th Army to house suspected war criminals. Club Sugamo was the official military social hub established inside the prison for the Allied occupation forces.
