Medal - All-Russian Numismatic Conference XXIII, Pskov

The All-Russian Numismatic Conferences have been held since 1993 and are the most significant events in the world of numismatics in Russia. The primary goal of the ANC has always been to promote the development of academic numismatics in the country. 
The conference traditionally covers numismatics of all historical periods, bond note studies, medallic art, sigillography, heraldry, faleristics, and the history of collections and numismatics. 
The conferences are organised by the State Historical Museum, the State Hermitage Museum, and the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, together with the host city's local museum. 
The general partner of the conferences is JSC Goznak, which accounts for the issue of commemorative medals by the Moscow Mint and the St. Petersburg Mint. A commemorative medal is issued for each conference.

The 23rd All-Russian Numismatic Conference was held on May 19–24, 2025, in Pskov, and was dedicated to the 600th anniversary of the beginning of coin minting in the city.
