The Shield (part of coat of arms):
The shield is split into two parts: the left side features Árpád stripes (4 red & 4 silver stripes and the silver stripes represent four rivers: the Danube, the Tisza, the Drave and the Sava).
The right side consists of an silver double cross situated inside a small golden crown. The crown is placed on the middle heap of three hills, representing the mountain ranges of the Tatra, Mátra, and the Fatra.
