The authors present here a new series of small bronze coins of Alexander and propose to attribute them to the mint of Tyre. These coins weighing less than lg (average weight : 0.62g) bear on the obverse Herakles' head and on the reverse the bow in bow-case, АЛЕН ANAPOY, the club and T Y on three of them. This series is dated from Alexander's lifetime, after Tyre's surrender (ca. 333-323).
