Rhodium (chemical symbol Rh) is a rare, hard, silvery-white metal with a high resistance to corrosion and tarnish. It is one of the rarest and most valuable metals on Earth, found primarily as a byproduct of platinum and nickel mining. In numismatics, its is mainly found as a plating material on collector coins.
