Originally located in Christiania (Oslo) from 1816/1817 to 1822. Then the workshop was relocated to Trondhjem (Trondheim), from 1822 to 1906 when it was moved back to Oslo. Production of banknotes stopped in 2007, when it was moved permemantly to England and France.
