Description

This set contains the circulation coins and a silver medal dedicated to the 170th Anniversary of the building of Şuţu Palace in Bucharest.
On the medal are depicted the image of the Şuţu Palace and the Goddess of Vidra, a ritual human-shaped vessel representative for the Neolitic era, Gumelinţa Culture, which is in the custody of the Bucharest Museum. The folder shows a painting by D. Segărceanu, the obverse and reverse of a koson (a valuable ancient coin), a short presentation of the Bucharest Museum and of the personalities depicted on the coins.
