Description
Official Irish BU coin set of 8 coins.
This set is the sixth and final in the 'Heritage of Ireland' series. The Newgrange mound is a passage tomb: built 5,000 years ago, the burial chamber is located at the end of a long stone corridor and is covered by an earthen mound. The tomb is surrounded by 97 large, horizontally placed stones, the kerbstones.
