Description

This 8 coin Masterpieces in Silver Set was issued by the RAM in 1991.

 

Seven coins in this set were based on the standard circulation coins, 1, 2, 5, 10 & 20 cent coins and and $1 & $2 coins.

 

The 50 cent coin was based on the 1991 25th Year of Decimal Currency commemorative circulation coin.

 

A Sterling Silver (.925) medal with the the Australian Coat of Arms and Set Number was also included in the Set

 

All eight coins were dated 1991.

 

Coins were issued in individual capsules, then placed in slots in an inner soft holder, that was inside a leatherette folding square case, then in an outside cardboard slipcase.
