The oldest coins of Sedetania were minted by the Seteisken. It minted coinage during the first half of the 2nd century BC, simultaneously with the Roman penetration and following the influence of Kese. Its name refers to the denomination of the gens. The town where the coinage was minted might be located near the Ebro river, in Aragon, possibly in modern-day Sastago. (source: Leandre Villaronga, Jaume Benages; 2011.
