Bernard Lescaze is a historian who served as President of the SGE (Société Genevoise d’Études) from 1995 to 2017.
He studied classics at the Collège Calvin, earned degrees in law and letters at the University of Geneva, and completed advanced history studies at the University of Lausanne.
Author of numerous publications, he also pursued a political career, presiding over both the Municipal and the Grand Council of Geneva.
